I work regularly with students on research projects related to my research interests during the summer and throughout the school year. The nature of the partnership varies. Some students have served as Politics department research assistants assisting me with data collection and analyses on my research projects. Other students have served as research assistants with funding from WFU URECA Center Summer Research Fellowships or URECA-X Awards. At times, these partnerships resulted in co-authored projects including presenting papers with me at professional political science meetings and publishing in political science journals. Some of my students are affiliated with the Race Inequality and Policy Initiative and I have guided them on their own research projects.
(Note to students: If you are interested in working with me on a research project, please sign up for my POL 280 Research Methods course and contact me to determine if I am able to take on more research assistants.)
